Hi Nico, thanks for asking, and it’s actually funny your question is coming in today because I was telling my husband this morning (!!!!) that we should start thinking about this destination…! So, as you’re now guessing, I’ve never been (yet) to either of these countries. What are you going there for? Business, leisure or both? And for how long? I have friends over in KL, I might be able to asked questions if you need, or put you guys in touch eventually when time comes.
Hello! How funny, it looks amazing. I am actually heading on my own and travelling for a few months in April. I plan to fly in to KL and travel Indonesia first finishing in Malaysia. I would like to explore the less touristy spots of indo but will definitely try Bali and gili. Sulawesi looks like it has amazing islands. I’ll be away for about 2 1/2 months in total! Would be wonderful to hear advice from your friends in KL. When are you planning on going? I’ll certainly try some cooking courses out there :)
How exciting to hear you can go away for so long!!! Even though we don’t know each other (yet) in real life, i’m happy for you! i have no real plan on going for the moment, as I don’t even know when my next vacation will take place (the joy of being self employed in a tough industry and the need to work too hard to not fail too soon lol…). How to get in touch with you outside of WordPress? If it’s convenient for you, I may suggest you go and like my FB page Cooking Trips (there’s a button on my blog) and send me a private message? or simply Friend me on Facebook on my personal page, and we’ll discuss about your trip details, also it will be easier to link you up to my friends in KL as they are on FB as well. And lat but not least, I am SOOOOOOOOO looking forward to reading your upcoming posts about your local culinary experiments far there!!!
I am off to Malaysia and Indonesia for the summer, I wandered if a well travelled lady as yourself had been and had any tips?
